Seton Hill University Freshman Receives Inaugural Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women Scholarship

Rachel Berthold, a Bethlehem-Center High School graduate from Fredericktown, Pennsylvania and freshman at Seton Hill University, is the recipient of the first Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women Scholarship given at Seton Hill. The scholarship, $2500 a year renewable for four years, is awarded on the basis of financial need, academic success, work history and goals, community service and personal challenges overcome. Berthold will be honored at Seton Hill University’s Honors Convocation on September 13 and at the 2006 Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women on September 14 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
