Seton Hill University’s student-run literary magazine, Eye Contact, received a First Place with Special Merit award for its Spring 2008 “Revelation” issue from the American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA). This award is given to a publication that is scored in the highest 10% of campus magazines judged and is deemed “an outstanding overall example of a scholastic publication in format, content, and presentation” by the ASPA.

Lebanon, Pa., design staff; Mara Barreiro of Greensburg, Pa., literary editor, Kevin Hinton of Richmond, Va., literary editor, Jen Prex of Bethel Park, Pa., literary editor; Jed Fetterman of Indiana, Pa., literary staff; Christina Celona of Lincoln University, Pa., literary staff; Marie Manski of Derry Township, Pa., art editor; Marie Salguero of Ebensburg, Pa., art editor. The Eye Contact faculty advisor is Michael Arnzen, Ph.D., Seton Hill University associate professor of English.

Eye Contact, the literary magazine of Seton Hill University, invites submissions from students, faculty, and staff of area colleges, and also welcomes submissions from Greensburg-area writers and artists. The submission deadline for the spring 2009 issue of Eye Contact is February 6, 2009.
