GREENSBURG, PA- Seton Hill College senior Stacy Jastrzembski of Vandergrift, PA, broke the College and Mideast Conference record for most points scored in a game with 49 points in the Saturday, February 9th game against Notre Dame of Ohio. In addition, she matched the league mark with 18 field goals made. Jastrzembski earned 520 points for the Spirit this season. Her college career points total 1,850.

Jastrzembski was honored as the 2001 YWCA Sportswoman of the Year. In addition, she scored her 1,000th point at the Bethany Basketball Tournament on December 2, 2000 against Penn State- Altoona. In addition, she was featured in the nationally circulated College Bound Magazine last spring as an outstanding student-athlete and was nominated by Seton Hill College for the USA Today All USA College Academic Team.

This past season, Jastrzembski was the third leading scorer for the American Mideast Conference averaging 20.1 points per game; was second in 3-point field goal percentage- shooting 47.5%; placed 9th in field goals made averaging 1.90 per game; and was 10th in field goal percentage making 51.3%.

An informational management and marketing double major with double minors in computer science ad Spanish, Jastrzembski serves as the student-body president. She will graduate in May 2001.
