GREENSBURG, PA- The Seton Hill College Community Music Program is currently accepting applications for the fall semester. This program is designed to develop the musicianship of children and adults in Westmoreland and surrounding counties through quality musical instruction. The program serves over 130 private students each year at Seton Hill College in addition to over 100 involved in the children’s music classes and Youth Honors Band Program. Private instruction is offered in woodwind, brass, string and percussion instruments, piano, voice (must be at least 14 years of age), computers in music, jazz improvisation studies, composition and preparation for church organists through private organ lessons. Group opportunities offered are small instrumental ensembles, Youth Honors Band Program, children’s choirs and Sacred Music Workshops.
