GREENSBURG, PA- The Seton Hill College National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education (NCCHE) will celebrate the grand opening of the Holocaust Collection Room in Reeves Library on campus on Monday, December 3, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the library. Guest speaker Rabbi Sara Rae Perman of the Congregation Emanu El Israel of Greensburg will discuss her dreidel collection, 75 of which will be on display in Reeves Library during the Hanukkah season. Over the past year, the Reeves Library staff headed by Director David Stanley, has worked with the NCCHE to relocate and add materials to the Holocaust Collection and to house it in a single area within the library. NCCHE coordinator Wilda Kaylor said: “This program is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Jewish customs and to appreciate the diversity of American life.” The event is free and open to the public.
