Seton Hill admissions counselor Ashley Josay surprised Elizabeth Forward senior Lauren Graham with a full scholarship on Friday, March 7. Administrators from Elizabeth Forward, along with Lauren's family and friends, helped to coordinate the surprise event at the school, and celebrated with Lauren after she received her "big check." Lauren will be a freshman at Seton Hill in the 2008 - 2009 academic year; she plans to major in Spanish.

In 2007, Seton Hill created four full-tuition scholarships and awarded them to outstanding scholars who were incoming freshmen in the traditional undergraduate program at Seton Hill. Beginning in the 2008-2009 academic year, Seton Hill will award 8 full tuition scholarships. These scholarships are renewable for four years of study at Seton Hill and are valued at more than $100,000 each; students recognized are known as Seton Scholars. Two scholarships will be awarded annually in each of the following academic divisions based on the student’s selected major field of study: Humanities, Visual and Performing Arts, Natural and Health Sciences, and Social Sciences.
