• Who: First graduating class from Seton Hill University

  • Why: Seton Hill recognizes the graduating class from the Masters in Business Administration graduate program and the first students to officially graduate from Seton Hill University. 22 students will graduate from the business masters degree program: 19 will receive the MBA and 3 will receive the MSM.

    During the ceremony, Guo Rong Sheng of Shanghai, China will receive an honorary degree from Seton Hill in recognition of his accomplishments in business in China and his lifetime work in hospitality and bridge-building among nations.

    Mr. Guo is head of the Rainbow Hotel in Shanghai and has been head of several other leading hotels in China during his tenure in the hospitality business. He has served in a leadership role at the Shanghai Tourism Bureau and as an English translator for the Shanghai International Travel Service. Mr. Guo graduated from Shanghai Foreign Language Institute with a degree in English. He has the rank of Senior Economist in China.

    Mr. Guo will receive an honorary MBA degree as his daughter, Yanyan Guo, receives her masters degree after two years of study at Seton Hill University.
