Carol Zola, assistant to President Boyle, is responsible for Seton Hill's global e-mail announcement system. To have information about an upcoming event or item of interest included in a global e-mail to faculty and staff, or a SHU Announcement global e-mail to students only, just send Carol an e-mail containing the text of your announcement. Please indicate if the information is to be sent to staff and faculty and/or to students. Also, please keep in mind that artwork may not transfer to the global e-mail system, so text messages are the best method for ensuring your information is sent.

Carol tries to send global e-mails only once a day, so several messages could be listed on one e-mail. This is to prevent sending numerous messages and bogging down SHU's communication system.

When you have a question about a particular e-mail do not use REPLY, rather, send your question, comment or concern to the person listed at the top of the e-mail (the name next to FROM:). Any member of the SHU community can request a global e-mail and/or SHU student announcement, just remember that the earlier in the day you get your message to Carol the better the chance of getting your message sent on that day.
