GREENSBURG, PA- John Fogle, Athletic Director at Seton Hill College, announced that Lindsay Dixon, daughter of Bill and Toni Dixon of Latrobe, PA, has accepted basketball and volleyball scholarships and will be attending Seton Hill College in the Fall of 2002.

A senior at Derry Area High School, Dixon is a member of the girls’ varsity basketball and volleyball teams. Dixon served as team captain for the basketball team, was a member of the Westmoreland County First Team and All-Section Team twice. She is also the school record holder with 1,047 points during her high school career, becoming the first girl to reach 1,000 points in the school’s history.

As a volleyball player, Dixon served as team captain, was voted twice to the All-WPIAL, All PIAA and All-Section teams and selected for the Westmoreland County First Team. She is also the school record holder with 1,114 points.

She is listed in Who’s Who in Sports and was voted “Most Athletic” for her senior class.

Dixon plans to major in business management at Seton Hill.
