The women's soccer team dropped its fifth straight contest following a 3-1 home loss to Edinboro on Wednesday afternoon.  Seton Hill scored early but Edinboro answered with three goals after the halftime break.  With the loss, the Griffins fall to 2-7 overall and 2-7 in PSAC play.  The Griffins got on the scoreboard early in the first half when Breanna Novosel sent a ball thru to Madison Gourley who buried it into the back of the net to give the Griffins 1-0 lead just 2:19 into the contest.  The Griffins were able to hold onto the 1-0 lead into the halftime break thanks to 6 saves from Bethany Winter.  Edinboro tied the score at one with a goal just under 7 minutes into the second half.  Seventeen minutes later the Fighting Scots took the lead for good.  Edinboro closed out the scoring with a goal in the 72nd minute.  Winter recorded 12 saves in net.  SHU will travel to Point Park on Saturday afternoon.
