The Seton Hill women will be one of thirteen teams will be competing on Saturday for the WVIAC Women's Cross Country Championship, which is being hosted by Seton Hill on the SHU campus.  The Griffins, which claimed the title a season ago at the Pipestem Course, was the preseason favorite to repeat as champions. The Griffins are regionally ranked fifth by the USTFCCCA and were atop the latest WVIAC Power Rankings. The squad returned four of its top five runners from 2011. This year, Jeannie Bujdos picked up several WVIAC Runner of the Week honors and will try to claim the individual championship.  Freshman Meghan Carter along with sophomores Megan Cala, Leah Schott and Mary Janak give the Griffins a very formidable top five.  The sophomore class is looking for two titles in two seasons.
