The Griffins opened up PSAC play on Friday afternoon when they traveled to Millersville University.  SHU dropped their PSAC opener by the score of 2-1.  SHU drops to 3-5 overall and 0-1 in PSAC play.  Millersville opened the scoring just five minutes into the contest to take a 1-0 lead.  The Griffins answered back with a goal of their own in the 23rd minute of the contest when Emily Hutsko scored off a feed from Natasha Nichols.  That tied the score at one heading to the halftime break.  Millersville took the lead for good on a goal on a penalty stroke in the 55th minute of the contest.  The Marauders were able to hang on for the 2-1 victory.  Autumn Reid recorded 11 saves in net.  SHU will continue their eastern trip on Saturday when they take on West Chester at 1 PM.
