The field hockey team made the long journey to Louisville, Kentucky to battle Bellarmine University.  The long trip was worth it as the Griffins came away with a dramatic 2-1 road victory.  SHU improves to 3-3 on the season.  The Griffins took an early 1-0 lead when Jaydyn Morrison scored her second goal of the season at the 13:22 mark.  Lauren Schumacher assisted on the goal.  The Griffins entered the halftime break with a 1-0 lead.  Bellarmine then tied the game at one with a goal just over seven minutes into the second half.  The game remained tied at one until the final minute of play when Lauren Mariano scored the game winning goal with one minute to play in the game.  McDonough Scanlon assisted on the game winner.  Autumn Reid recorded the victory in net with 4 saves.  The Griffins will travel to East Stroudsburg on Tuesday afternoon.
