Seton Hill right hander Perry DellaValle was awarded for his very successful summer with the Licking County Setters of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.  DellaValle was named an honorable mention selection on the Perfect Game Summer Collegiate All American Team.  This team is selected by the staff at perfectgame.org and includes players from all of the Summer College Baseball Leagues.  The Cape Cod League led the way with the number of players listed with 10 players making the three All-America teams and the honorable mention list, including five on the first team. The leagues that follow include the Northwoods (8), Coastal Plain (6), Prospect (6), California (5), Alaska (5), West Coast (4), Perfect Game (4), Great Lakes (4), New England (3), Golden State (2), Texas (2) and Atlantic (2) leagues.  The Cal Ripken, Florida, Futures, Hamptons, MINK, New York and Valley collegiate leagues all had one each.  Perry is the second Griffin to earn a summer all american award joining Alex Haines who was a second team selection in 2012.
