The junior class held its annual tree planting ceremony on April 19, 2007. The Class of 2008 dedicated SHU's newest class tree to Marcia Pietrala, Public Services Librarian and member of the Class of 2004, who passed away on April 13, 2006. Marcia's tree is planted between the Library and Sullivan Hall.

Class of 2008 Officers are: Marchae Peters, President; Meredith Harber, Vice President; Janette Kristich, Secretary; Melissa Lutz, Treasurer; and Megan Ritter, CLRB Representative. Cynthia Boland, director of Campus Ministry, is the Class of 2008 advisor.
