"Degrees of Interference," an exhibit featuring collaborative and solo work by Carol Brode and Westmoreland County Community College Associate Professor of Art Kathleen Dlugos (SHU ’79), will open Thursday, November 16 with a reception from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. The exhibit will feature a variety of media, including paintings, prints, video, and fused glasswork. A gallery talk on Thursday, November 30 will feature a poetry reading by Marie Pavlicek-Wehrli (SHU ’79). “Degrees of Interference” continues through January 21, 2007.

Brode also has a piece in the 96th Annual Associated Artists of Pittsburgh (AAP) Exhibition in the Heinz Galleries at the Carnegie Museum of Art, for which she received a purchase award. Richard Stoner, adjunct instructor of art at Seton Hill, also received an award for his photograph "Confusion in Times of War." The AAP exhibition runs through January 15, 2007.
