120 Seton Hill students, faculty, staff members will volunteer at 11 service sites in Pittsburgh, Greensburg, and southwestern Pa. on Sept. 13, 2008 as part of the 14th annual "Labor of Love, Saturday of Service" event.

"Labor of Love, Saturday of Service" is a Seton Hill tradition of beginning the academic year with a day of community service that brings new and returning students, faculty, and staff together to engage in the rich Seton Hill heritage and spirit of charity.

This year, the Seton Hill community will be volunteering for the Green Meadows Nursing Facility in Latrobe, Pa.; Westmoreland Cleanways in Greensburg, Pa.; the Christian Layman Store in Greensburg, Pa.; Produce to People: Holy Rosary Church in Pittsburgh, Pa.; the Redstone Highlands Nursing Facility in Greensburg, Pa.; Rebuilding Together - Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa.; the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Food Pantry in N. Huntingdon, Pa.; the new Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity Resale Store in Jeannette, Pa.; the Sisters of Charity at Caritas Christi, in Greensburg, Pa.; the Greensburg YMCA; and the SHU Green Commitment on Seton Hill's campus.
