Seton Hill University’s Division of Visual and Performing Arts is proud to present the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds concert “Ride On!” Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 8 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on Seton Hill’s Greensburg, Pa. campus.

Your admission ticket is a “Ride All Day Pass!” Hang on tight as the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds (WSW) takes you on Philip Sparke’s “Merry-Go-Round” and the symphonic sketch “Roller Coaster” by Otto Schwarz. Prefer water rides? “The Great Steamboat Race” by Robert W. Smith will take you down the Mississippi River while “Ride,” by Pittsburgh composer and Upper St. Clair School District music educator, Samuel R. Hazo, will take you on a landscape-blurring car ride down a country road. As always, the WSW Jazz Ensemble is featured in this “Pops” concert, as are members of the SHU Community Music Program Youth Honors Band.

Admission to the concert is $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 724-838-4280. Tickets will also be available at the door.
