Harlan Gallery Calls for Entries for Women in Art 2025
Seton Hill University’s Harlan Gallery is seeking entries for Women in Art 2025, a juried exhibition showcasing women artists in all media. The exhibition will run from October 9 to November 21 with an opening reception on October 9 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Artists may submit up to three pieces by the deadline of August 30, 2025. All submissions must be digital in JPEG format. The entry fee for up to three works is $20. Entry fee checks should be made payable to “Seton Hill University Art Gallery” and mailed to the following address: Attn: Emily Franicola, Gallery Director, Seton Hill University, Box AR008, 1 Seton Hill Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601. Please include the artist's name, address and email with the check.
Artwork should be submitted as high-res JPEG files and emailed to Emily Franicola, Director of Harlan Gallery, at harlangallery@setonhill.edu with the subject line of the email reading Submission for Women in Art Juried Exhibition 2025. Please attach a PDF or document file listing the works of art in the order of your attachments first by artist, title, date, medium, and dimensions. If you are submitting time-based work, please list the duration of your work.
Jurying will be conducted by the students enrolled in Seton Hill University’s Women in Art Seminar course. Monetary prizes for first, second, and third place will be awarded.
Artists will be notified of their acceptance or rejection for the exhibit by September 13 and artwork will be accepted September 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All artwork, including mailed pieces, must be received by September 28 to be included in the exhibition. Artwork will be available for pickup after the exhibition from November 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Harlan Gallery is a professional exhibition space open to the public, free of charge and located in the Seton Hill University Arts Center at 205 West Otterman Street, Greensburg, Pa.
