Location: Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center

This workshop will be presented in Summer 2021 due to concerns with safety and social distancing while presenting these topics. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you would like to be notified when it is rescheduled, please contact or call 724-552-2923.

Summer is an essential time for elementary general music teachers to rest, reset, and regroup for the upcoming school year. This summer, Seton Hill University has gathered local general music educators with key specializations in Orff, Kodaly, Music Learning Theory, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics to offer you a two-day intensive workshop. Topics will address curriculum and lesson planning within these key elementary general music methodologies as well as special focus sessions on assessment and interdisciplinary approaches for your classroom. For those interested, ACT 48 Credits will be available through PMEA.

The Summer General Music Workshop is presented by the Department of Music in partnership with the Community Arts Program at Seton Hill University.
