To ensure the safety of all members of the Seton Hill University community and to enhance the quality of life on campus, the University maintains a Campus Police Department that patrols all areas of campus. The Campus Police Department is comprised of trained professionals with full police powers.  Campus Police can be reached by dialing 724-830-4999 and can also be summoned by using any of the emergency call buttons (marked with blue lights) on campus.

In addition to our dedicated campus police department, Seton Hill University benefits from the support of the City of Greensburg police department and City of Greensburg fire and emergency response teams. Greensburg is also home of Excela Health Westmoreland, which is located approximately five minutes from campus.  Seton Hill also has a long-standing educational partnership with the Blackburn Center Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.

Campus Alert System

All members of the Seton Hill community are given free access to the University’s Campus Alert System, which provides text message or email alerts in the case of severe weather or campus emergencies. (If you are a current student, staff or faculty member who has not yet signed up for alerts, you can do so in the Campus Police section of Griffin's Lair.)
