To ensure the safety of all members of the Seton Hill University community and to enhance the quality of life on campus, the University maintains a Campus Police Department that patrols all areas of campus. The Campus Police Department is composed of trained professionals with full police powers. The Campus Police Office is in the Administration Building Annex, office hours are Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM. Campus police are on duty at all times.

Campus Alert System

All members of the Seton Hill community are given free access to the University’s Campus Alert System, which provides text message or email alerts in the case of severe weather or campus emergencies. (If you are a current student, staff or faculty member who has not yet signed up for alerts, you can do so on MySHU.)

Parking Permits

All Seton Hill students parking cars on campus must have a permit. There is no fee. To register for a parking permit, or to update an existing permit, please visit the Parking Permits section of MySHU. (New students will receive MySHU account access once they are officially accepted and enrolled at Seton Hill.)

Community Support

In addition to our dedicated campus police department, Seton Hill University benefits from the support of the City of Greensburg police department and City of Greensburg fire and emergency response teams. Greensburg is home to Excela Health Westmoreland, which is located approximately five minutes from campus. Seton Hill also has a long-standing educational partnership with Greensburg's Blackburn Center.
