How the Program Works

As a B.A. in music student, you will take the fundamental undergraduate courses in the music major (music theory, aural theory and music history) while developing skills in your major area of performance (piano, voice or instrumental) as well as in secondary areas of performance.  You will have the opportunity to participate in numerous large and small ensembles to enhance your music making experience as a student.

Once you become a Seton Hill student, a Music Program faculty advisor will assist you in designing a curriculum that meets your personal goals. As a prospective student, you are also welcome to meet with a faculty advisor, visit a class, or take a lesson.
