Dr. Livsey received her Ph.D. in Community Psychology from Michigan State University in 2005. Her area of emphasis was preventing recidivism in the juvenile court system. She joined Seton Hill first as an adjunct in 2006 and then full-time in 2008 as head of the Criminal Justice program. Previously Dr. Livsey worked as a research associate at the National Center for Juvenile Justice in Pittsburgh.
