Patti Ghubril, MA, ATR-BC, LPC is a Board Certified Art Therapist and Trauma Specialist. She most recently served as a therapist at Center for Victims (CV) in Pittsburgh, PA where she utilized integrative, expressive, trauma-informed approaches in her clinical work with children, youth and families; who all experienced violence and loss. Patti leads interactive workshops for mental health professionals on Vicarious Trauma and Self Care. She designed a trauma psychoeducation program, called Living Forward, for adolescent residents of Shuman Detention Center. Patti is a 2010-2011 Pittsburgh Schweitzer Fellow. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and she has two grown children. Patti and her husband founded an urban community development organization on Pittsburgh's Northside, called The Pittsburgh Project which is now in its thirty-second year.
