Patti Ghubril, MA, ATR-BC, LPC is a Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor and trauma specialist. She is also an Art Therapy Certified Supervisor (ATCS). She served as a therapist at Center for Victims (CV) in Pittsburgh, PA where she utilized integrative, expressive, trauma-informed approaches in her clinical work with children, youth and families; who all experienced violence and loss. She also served CV as a Licensed Clinical Professional Supervisor. She designed and facilitated a trauma psychoeducation program, called Living Forward, for adolescent residents of Shuman Detention Center. Patti was a 2010-2011 Pittsburgh Schweitzer Fellow. Patti and her husband founded an urban community development organization on Pittsburgh's Northside, called The Pittsburgh Project which is now in its thirty-fourth year. She currently serves on the Global Mental Health Advisory Committee for Tutapona, an international trauma rehabilitation agency working with refugees in Uganda and Iraq. She also serves on the Mental Health Advisory Team for Kidsburgh.org.
