Melanie came to SHU after an extensive career in banking and business consulting. As a banker, she held all positions including commercial lender and bank president. After leaving the bank, Melanie opened her own consulting business. She has done business consulting for Seton Hill's EMagnify and currently the URA of Pittsburgh. Her business includes loan packaging for customers, analysis of business/personal finances, business plan writing, and controller duties for many companies. Melanie's goal was always to teach. In May 2017 she graduated from SHU with her degree in Business/Entrepreneurship and in May 2018 secured her MBA at SHU. She has been an Adjunct Professor with SHU since August of 2018.
