I graduated from Mount Mercy College (now Carlow University) where I majored in Speech and minored in English. I did one year of graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh in the Theatre Department and was involved in community and college theaters for many years, both as an actress and director. In the corporate world, I was a Records Manager for both law firms and corporations in Texas and California. Just before coming to Seton Hill I was secretary to the President of Franciscan University of Steubenville and also the official Secretary of the University. I am married and have three stepchildren and five grandchildren.
