Mr. Christopher Wayne Robinson, MSW, is a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan and has served in a variety of social service capacities for over ten years. Professor Robinson holds a bachelor of social work from Jackson State University, a master of social work in community organization & social administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and a graduate certificate in human services management from the University of Pittsburgh. Professor Robinson is currently a doctoral candidate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania pursuing a doctorate in education with a concentration in higher education administration and leadership. Robinson's doctoral research focuses on the modern-day relevance of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) as contemporary minority-serving institutions. Professor Robinson has professional memberships in the National Association of Social Workers, Association of Black Social Workers, National Council on Black American Affairs, and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated.
