Living on Campus
Moving into the Halls
Moving in day is a big event at Seton Hill and will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for first-year students and on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m for upperclass students. Moving in day can be especially stressful for the families of incoming first-year students. That's why the Residence Life staff tries to make it as easy as possible.
During Griffin Days (orientation weekend) in August, the Residence Life staff is at hand and available for all questions. The Orientation Assistants (also referred to as OAs) are also a help that day: they help the families move all the loads from the cars! The local cable service is also around to hook up cable for those freshmen that choose to purchase it. But before that day approaches, there are a lot of things to think about when it comes to going off to college. |
