In The Girl Who Was Plugged In, a bag lady looking to improve her lot agrees to transplant her soul into a sexy, cyber-celebrity advertising android. Of course, the big boss’ son falls for her. But which her? In Her Pilgrim Soul a scientist discovers a spirit suspended in a living holograph, an event that sends him on an expedition to his own soul. Weird Romance is directed by Denise Pullen, associate professor of theatre at Seton Hill. TaMara Swank, adjunct instructor of theatre at Seton Hill, served as choreographer for Weird Romance, and Jim Overly, Seton Hill adjunct instructor of theatre, served as musical director.

Alan Knepper of Fort Littleton, Pa. as Johnny Beaumont/Ruskin/Paramedic/Technician/Handler; Andrew Lease of Lancaster, Pa. as Isham/Boxer; Jeanette Lundell of Sewickley, Pa. as Zanth/Other Handler/Technician/Female Assistant/Bag Lady; Natalie Moretti of Cheswick, Pa. as Delphi/Bride/Dancer; Danielle Nortum, of Johnsonburg, Pa. as Voice Coach/Susan Granville/Female Assistant; Andrew Roberts of Green Lane, Pa. as Fans/George Lester; Laura Stracko of Nazareth, Pa. as P. Burke/Carol; and Darcy Wood of Orlando, Fla. as Shannara/Rebecca/Chorus.

Miquel Doby of McKeesport, Pa. will serve as stage manager for Weird Romance, while Nathan May of Latrobe, Pa. and Matthew Mlynarski of Lower Burrell, Pa. will serve as assistant stage managers. Marie Manski of Blairsville, Pa. will serve as make-up stylist.

Performance Schedule: April 27, 2007 – 8 p.m.; April 28 – 8 p.m.; April 29 – 2 p.m.; May 1 and 2 – 10:30 a.m.; May 3 – 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., May 4 and 5 – 8 p.m.

Ticket and Venue Information: All performances are in Reeves Theatre, ground floor, Reeves Memorial Library on Seton Hill’s campus. Seton Hill University is located on Route 130 West in Greensburg, Pa. Reeves Theatre is a disabled accessible and climate-controlled facility. Parking is free. Single admission tickets are $12 for all ages, all performances. Single admission for Seton Hill students is $5. Groups of 16 or more, with reservations and advance payment, are $10 each. Student rush tickets (available five minutes before curtain to any student with a valid school ID) are $5, subject to availability.
