Seton Hill U. Marketing Campaign receives National and Regional Accolades

Seton Hill University received multiple awards from national and regional organizations for recent efforts in marketing.

The University received 10 awards in the 29th Annual Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. Nearly 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

Seton Hill received two Gold Awards. The first was in the Integrated Campaign Category for the University’s total integrated campaign, and the second was in the Radio Advertising category. Seton Hill earned three Silver Awards: One for Total Advertising, a second in the Magazine Series category and the third in the TV Single category for a Health Sciences advertisement. A Bronze Award was earned in the TV Series category, while Awards of Merit were received in the Magazine Single category, Social Media category and Search Pieces categories.

Seton Hill was also honored with three CUPPIE Awards, presented by CUPRAP, the Association of Communicators in Education.

The university received a Gold CUPPIE for its Campus Expansion television commercial and a Silver CUPPIE for the “What is Up?” commercial in the Television Advertising category. Seton Hill received a Bronze CUPPIE in the Complete Campaign Advertising Category, which included print, radio, posters, digital banners and other marketing tools.

The CUPPIEs represent the best in higher education marketing and communication from colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.

The University’s marketing department partnered with Bob Lazor, freelance art director and Ilona Segedy of Write, LLC to develop the campaign.

"We are excited to see Seton Hill’s marketing efforts recognized by our peers in the higher education community,” said Michael Poll, Vice President for Enrollment Management. “Our marketing department strives to produce creative messages that recruit and engage prospective students, build on Seton Hill’s brand awareness and showcase the great work happening on The Hill.”
