Annual Kristallnacht Remembrance Service

6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
The National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education and Campus Ministry sponsor this annual interfaith service in remembrance of Kristallnacht, "Night of Broken Glass," when in 1938, Nazis burned synagogues, looted Jewish homes and businesses and murdered individuals throughout Germany and Austria. Fritz Ottenheimer, author of "Escape and Return," who fled Germany with his family and later returned as a U.S. soldier, is the featured speaker. Other special guests include Holocaust survivors Robert Mendler, Shulimit Bastacky, Solange Lebovitz and Sam and Goldie Weinreb. Free and open to the public.
