Born and raised in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. St. Joseph's Parochial School 1958-1966. Greater Nanticoke Area High School 1966-1970. Enlisted in US Air Force as Medical Services Specialist (Medic) in 1971. Medical Services Specialist at McGuire AFB, NJ 1972-1975. Medical Services Specialist at AFEES, Columbus, Ohio 1975-1979. Independent Duty Medical Technician at Shemya AFB, AK 1979-1980. Commissioned in US Air Force (Physician Assistant) in August 1982. Physician Assistant at US Air Force Acadmey, CO 1981-1986. Physician Assistant at Griffiss AFB, NY 1986-1991. Retired from US Air Force as Captain in October 1991. Family Practice & Orthopedic Physician Assistant in upstate NY 1991-2008. Physician Assistant at Excela Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. 2008-2010. Married 1973-2002 Rebecca Schwerin (deceased). Married 2005 Kelli Smith. 3 sons: Nathan (1974), David (1980), Jonathan (1987).
