Child Development Center


About the Center

Seton Hill University’s Child Development Center is a preschool for children ages three to five. Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Center is under the direction of Seton Hill's Division of Education.

Located on Seton Hill's main hilltop campus in Greensburg, Pa., the Child Development Center provides Seton Hill Education Program students the opportunity to observe, work and learn in an accredited early childhood environment. 


The Center conducts three-hour half-day sessions, five days a week, at the following times:

  • Morning Session: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Afternoon Session: 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Accreditation & Licensing

The Child Development Center has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1994. Accredited programs meet and maintain stringent criteria in areas of health, physical environment, leadership and management, relationships, teaching, curriculum, child assessment, staff, and families and community relationships. Additionally, the Center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a Private Academic School.
