Westmoreland Youth Symphony Orchestra
Ramona Coppage, Manager
The Westmoreland Youth Symphony was started in 1981 by Kypros Markou, the Music Director of the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra. It was his belief that the Westmoreland Symphony should sponsor a youth orchestra so that the young musicians (youth through college students) of this area would have the opportunity to have an orchestral experience.

The orchestra holds weekly rehearsals and periodic sectional coachings at Seton Hill University. New members are chosen by audition and must commit themselves to both the rehearsal and performance schedule.

For more information contact Ramona Coppage at 724-837-1850 or ramonacoppage@westmorelandsymphony.org.
