Moving Into the Halls

Moving in day can be especially stressful for the families of incoming first-year students, so the Residence Life staff strives to make it as easy as possible. During Griffin Days (orientation weekend) in August, the Residence Life staff is available to answer any questions. The Orientation Assistants (also referred to as OAs) will help families move items from cars to residence hall rooms on moving in day, and the local cable service is also around on moving in day to hook up cable for those freshmen who choose to purchase it.

We understand that there is a lot to think about when it comes to going off to college, so we've developed a checklist to help new students and their families prepare for moving in day.
