Seton Hill Women's Tennis

The 2011-2012 version of the Seton Hill Women's tennis team will be led by first year head coach John Chatlak. Coach Chatlak's squad brings back a very strong group of experienced players and also has added two quality freshmen to round out the squad. The strong nucleus of returning players includes seniors Catherine Goetz and Maria Mastromatteo.  Juniors Julia Madigan, Laura Boord and Rebecca Cenknar and sophomore Lauren Duffy round out the returnees.  Freshmen Megan Hudak from Penn Trafford and Faith Finoli from Greensburg Central Catholic will be looked upon to help the Griffins in the battle for the WVIAC crown.

The women's fall schedule includes playing in the Davis & Elkins Tournament before playing their first WVIAC match when they host West Liberty.  Non conference matches against St Vincent and Clarion are also on the schedule.  The Griffins then take on other WVIAC members Charleston, Shepherd, West Virginia State, Concord, Bluefield, West Liberty, Davis and Elkins and WV Wesleyan before competing in the WVIAC Championships in late October.
