Griffins Fall in Home Finale to Bellarmine

The Griffin women's field hockey team dropped their home finale to Bellarmine. SHU falls to 6-11 on the season. Bellarmine jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Krista Archambeau put the Griffins on the scoreboard. Bellarmine scored the final two goals of the half to lead 4-1 at halftime. Archambeau scored her second to cut the score to 4-2. Lynette Mhangami assisted on the goal. BU scored 7 minutes later to extend the lead to 5-2. Archambeau scored her third of the game to make it 5-3 and Allegra Ramos scored less than two minutes later to cut the lead to 5-4. BU put the game away with a goal with 5 minutes to play. Archambeau had 3 goals and 1 assist. Ramos finished with a goal and assist. The Griffins will travel to St Vincent on Monday.
