Field Hockey Falls to Shippensburg 10-1

Women's field hockey was defeated by #2 ranked Shippensburg 10-1 on Thursday. Shippensburg jumped out early and took a 4-0 lead into the half. In the second, Shippensburg scored the first six goals before SHU responded with a Krista Archambeau goal at the 66:37 mark. For the game, Lynette Mhangami led the Griffins in shots with 3 while Hofer and Allegra Ramos each had 2 shots respectively. Nadine Wallace registered 11 saves in net during 30 minutes of playing time. Brittany Parker had 6 saves throughout the duration of the game. With the loss, the Griffins fall to 6-10 on the year. Next, SHU will host Bellarmine this Sunday at 4 PM.
