Bogert, Griffins finish second at SHU Griffin Classic

Freshman Jon Bogert led the Griffin men's cross country team to a second place finish in the 2009 SHU Griffin Classic that was held on the Seton Hill campus on Saturday morning. Bogert finished the 5 mile event with a time of 28:48.75. Mike Ortiz was the next highest finisher, finishing in fourth overall with a time of 29:05.74. Justin Weaver was sixth overall with a time of 29:09.36. Dominic Camasso was next in seventh place with a time of 29:15.45. Rounding out the Griffin runners were Jess Bradley in 15th place with a time of 30:31.53, Josh Wilks in 21st place with a time of 32:28.96, Chris Bartko in 26th place with a time of 33:13.62 and Rob Zanni in 27th at 33:23.30. Concord won the overall team event with Szymon Rolla coming in first place overall. SHU will travel to the California (PA) Invitational next weekend.
