Seton Hill falls short at WVIAC Track and Field Championships

WV Wesleyan’s women claimed their seventh straight WVIAC Track and Field championship and 17th of the last 19 today at Wheeling Jesuit University with a team total of 234 points. The Griffins of Seton Hill University placed second with 146 team points followed by Concord University with 94 pt. Seton Hill sophomore Erin Beattie lead all individual scorers with 50 points being named the MVP of the this year’s meet. Four WVIAC meet records fell over the two day competition highlighted by Seton Hill’s Amanda Ponsonby in the Pole Vault jumping a height of 3.72m (12’3”).
