Representatives of Athletic Interests
Ask permission; Not forgiveness.
This simple phrase is a reminder to alumni, fans and friends of Seton Hill University that it is always better to ask before you act. There are many ways to be involved Seton Hill athletics teams, but we must always be mindful to do so within the University, WVIAC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
The goal is for your involvement to be a win-win- win for you, Seton Hill University, and the talented young student-athletes.
To this end, the athletics compliance program is designed to:
- Create a culture of compliance among all constituents of the athletics program, including student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans in keeping with the NCAA, conference and institutional rules and regulations
- Monitor all aspects of the athletics department to ensure compliance; identify and report ALL instances in which compliance has not been achieved; and affirm that appropriate corrective actions are taken, and
- Educate all constituents about applicable NCAA, conference and institutional rules
Are you a Representative of the Seton Hill Athletics Interest?
You are a representative of the Seton Hill athletics interests, more commonly known as a 'booster' if you meet ANY of the following conditions:
- You have ever been a member of any organization that promotes Seton Hill athletics program ( e.g. Griffin Club, Friends of Clubs, Quarterback Club, Parent Club)
- You have ever made a financial contribution to the Seton Hill athletics department or booster organization
- You are or have been a season ticket holder in any sport
- You have provided benefits ( e.g. summer jobs or occasional family meals to enrolled student-athletes.
- You have ever, in any way, promoted the athletics program at Seton Hill University
NOTE: Please remember that once a booster; always a booster. You retain that identity indefinitely
