Scholarships & Financial Aid
Traditional undergraduate students at Seton Hill University can be eligible for both need-based aid and merit-based aid. Most merit based aid is gift money which does not need to be repaid. Need based aid may consist of gift money, loans, or jobs. Seton Hill offers various types and amounts of each. The majority of our financial aid packages are made up of a combination of the aid listed below.
Scholarships - View all our Endowed Scholarships
Private scholarships are another good way to help fund an education. Private scholarships can be obtained from many sources. The financial aid office keeps a binder of private scholarships,
the web offers search sites, and organizations and companies in your area may offer scholarships as well.
Need-Based Aid
Need is the difference between the cost of attending college and the amount that you and your family are expected to contribute. The amount of your expected family contribution (EFC) is obtained by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the government's official accepted means of evaluation.
Eligilibility
To qualify for federal or state assistance a student must be a U.S. Citizen or hold an alien registration card, and must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
