First-Year Students
To apply to Seton Hill as an incoming freshman, you will need to provide:
Transfer Students
To apply to Seton Hill as a transfer student, you will need to provide:
- A completed application form, including the essay. Apply online now for free!
- Official college transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
- Official high school transcripts (for applicants with less than 30 transferrable credits).
- At least one of the following: SAT, TOEFL, ACT or IELTS (official scores).
- An official course evaluation report from the World Education Service (WES) for all university courses taken.
English Language Proficiency
If English is not your native language, we accept any of the following as a demonstration of English language proficiency:
- TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 79 - 80 (Internet-based).
- IELTS score of 6.0.
- Completion of 30 semester hours at a U.S. university.
- Completion of an ESL program.
- Satisfactory SAT or ACT score.
Graduate Students
To apply to Seton Hill as a graduate student, you will need to provide:
- A completed application form, including the essay. Apply online now for free!
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Official undergraduate transcripts from all institutions attended.
- Official transcript(s) from any institution(s) in which postbaccalaureate or graduate course work was taken.
- Evidence of ability to do graduate work as indicated by a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
- Three letters of recommendation written by appropriate professionals.
- An official course evaluation report from the World Education Service (WES) for all university courses taken, including postbaccalaureate courses.
- Approval by the graduate program's admissions committee.
- Declaration of Finances.
- TOEFL or IELTS scores as noted in the table below:
