Financial Aid Tips
- Ask Questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions! The Office of Financial Aid is here to help guide you through the application process. Email or call us with your questions.
- Keep a Copy. Make a photocopy of everything you send to the federal processor, the Financial Aid office, the IRS and state agencies. Information may need to be submitted to several agencies so do not send your originals.
- Respond Immediately. When additional information is requested, your application is placed on hold. Please forward the required materials requested by our office at your earliest convenience.
- Keep Us Updated. Any changes to your family income or household size should be reported to the Financial Aid Office. Loss of a job, separation/divorce, change of address or new family member are some changes that may allow for reconsideration of your aid eligibility.
- You Must Apply Each Year. The FAFSA must be submitted every year.
Be Careful and Accurate
When completing Financial Aid forms please read all directions. Each application may have changes in format, definitions, and data required from year to year. Incorrect or erroneous information results in your application being delayed or your aid offer being adjusted.
