Adult Degree Program

The Seton Hill University ADP program was a natural choice for me. It gave me the opportunity to make myself marketable within the very challenging and competitive business environment that exists today. The curriculum enabled me to expand my knowledge base well beyond expectations and the faculty was engaging and open to new ideas. Most importantly, I gained priceless exposure to extensive networking opportunities through my fellow students.

Michael Bauer
Class of 2008
What is the Adult Degree Program?
Every year, millions of adult students successfully return to college, balancing the demands of employment, family, and finances. Seton Hill University's Adult Degree Program was designed with these busy adults in mind. The majority of our Adult Degree Program students are over the age of 24, with full-time personal and professional responsibilities.

What is the course format?
Typically students take courses in sessions versus semesters. There are five sessions per year, and each session is eight weeks long. Classes meet every Saturday for eight weeks. Morning classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude by 11:45 a.m. Afternoon classes begin at 12:30 p.m. and conclude by 4:00 p.m. There are two sessions per 16-week semester, therefore, Adult Degree Program students can complete 12 credits per academic semester. Students may earn additional credits by taking courses in the evening in the traditional 16-week semester format.
