Seton Hill Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association Collegiate Chapter Receives Outstanding Collegiate Chapter Award

Is Music Your Life?

It has been part of Seton Hill’s since we awarded our first two degrees — both Bachelors of Music — in 1919. Our new Performing Arts Center affirms that dedication as it provides a thoroughly modern showcase for the talents of our students, and the expertise of our faculty. At Seton Hill, you’ll benefit from a long tradition of excellence in the study of music combined with the best of modern facilities, in a course of study that unites study and performance of music with the breadth and depth of a liberal arts education. Seton Hill is a fully accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music and we believe in educating students in a challenging yet supportive environment. Here, you will find your voice.

Bachelor of Music Degrees

The Music Program at Seton Hill University offers four concentrations within the Bachelor of Music (B.M.) degree:

Each of these programs includes a strong emphasis on skill development in music foundations and performance. Students receive an hour weekly lesson on their major instrument or voice and are given ample opportunities to perform.

Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree

We also offer the Bachelor of Arts in Music degree for those students who wish to explore other options for developing a career in music. This degree couples a strong foundation in music and performance with the ability to add additional study in areas such as business.
