NEIGHBORHOOD 3: REQUISITION OF DOOM
by Jennifer Haley
September 23 - October 1, 2011
Visit the Web site
Something seem surreal about Suburbia these days? Swear you've seen shell-shocked zombies creeping across cross-cut lawns, crawling through sprawling McRanches, entering teenage rooms of doom? Is this us? Or is it the online horror game named Neighborhood 3? Variety Magazine says this fast-paced play plays like a "nifty episode of The Twilight Zone." Fear is at once funny and not fun anymore, until we question which is the real reality. Or IS it all just a game? Don't want to play? You may have no say. Doom may be in the disconnect. Oh, and don't forget to pick up the claw hammer on your way in.

THE TEMPEST
by William Shakespeare
November 11 - 19, 2011
Exiled to a remote island, Prospero uses his sorcery to stir up a shipwreck that shifts the sands beneath his feet, when his beloved daughter falls in love with a ship's survivor. If he ever wants to end his isolation and flee this paradise turned prison, Prospero must free the fractured family he has enslaved, and free himself from the ideas that enslave him. Complete with clowns and a contrary, airy spirit Ariel, this celebrated later comedy is considered by many to be one of the Bard's best and most beautiful.

BAT BOY THE MUSICAL
Story and book by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming, music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe
February 24 - March 3, 2012
Found in a cave in West Virginia in 1992, this half bat, half boy gained overnight notoriety in tabloids, and in short order became a regular subject of Saturday Night Live spoofs. Now Bat Boy stars in his own musical. When the Taylor boys capture him, the town Sheriff delivers this freakish and frightened creature to the local veterinarian. Dr. Parker is forced to face the music when his daughter belts out that all-too-familiar and fatal question, "Can we keep him, Dad?" That may be up to the townsfolk of Hope Falls, who are slow to accept poor Bat Boy despite his domestication and dogged attempts at assimilation. He begs them …

RUNNING IN TRAFFIC
by Denise Pullen
April 27 - May 5, 2012
Lost and frightened, a young man with autism finds refuge on a traffic island when Stevie, a girl in a sandwich suit, pulls him from speeding traffic. While his family tackles traffic to find him, Bolton fights to continue to his destination, and Officer Edwards speeds to the scene of an alleged assault on a sandwich. Told with humor and compassion, this new play attempts to understand the mysteries of the autistic mind, and give voice to the voices held hostage within it.
