Pre-Professional Health Program
At Seton Hill, you can move forward with confidence to meet your future in medicine.
The Pre-Professional Health Program at Seton Hill prepares students for graduate or professional schools in the health field of their choice. The courses of study suggested by the program are not academic majors, but rather the courses that students must take before attending medical school, dental school, or other graduate health schools. While most students interested in a career in the health sciences choose to major in either biology or biochemistry, it is possible to pursue a health career after earning an undergraduate degree in another discipline. Seton Hill's health professions advisor can talk with you about your goals and help you to create a course of study that will get you to where you want to go.
Seton Hill is a small university, so you will have the chance to get to know your professors and your classmates, and to make new friends that will become your professional mentors and colleagues in the years to come. You will also benefit from a wide network of Seton Hill graduates who are successful chemists, researchers and science educators.
At Seton Hill you will be studying in a signature degree program at a nationally-recognized liberal arts university, so you will receive not just the best in science education - you will graduate with a comprehensive skill set and a deeper understanding of the arts, sciences and humanities.
Since 1885, Seton Hill has been preparing students like you to succeed in life, whatever you choose to do, wherever your life takes you. Let us help you to create a healthier world.
