Prerequisite Courses
The courses below are prerequisite courses for graduate students applying to the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program. Students enrolled in Seton Hill's combined B.S./M.S. in Physician Assistant Program must complete the courses below, in addition to Seton Hill's required liberal arts courses, prior to beginning graduate level coursework.
- Medical Terminology
- Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II with laboratories
- Chemistry I and II with laboratories OR Chemical Principles with laboratory
- Organic Chemistry I and II with laboratories OR Principles of Organic Chemistry with laboratory
- Abnormal Psychology OR Lifespan Development
- Microbiology with laboratory
- Introductory Statistics
- Biochemistry
If you are an applicant to the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program and have completed these courses, they must have been completed no longer than seven years ago. If your courses were completed more than seven years ago, you will need to retake the course(s). Additionally, individual review of your transcripts and course descriptions can result in specific course substitutions. No reviews of transcripts are conducted prior to application.
A minimum overall AND prerequisite course GPA of 3.2 is needed to be considered for an admission interview.
